Individual, personal and stylish, the hotel TINSCHERT is an oasis of wellness for its guests. For excellence in communications, TINSCHERT selected NESKOM, a partner of Unify, and the OpenScape Business solution from Unify.
The hotel had outgrown its current location, so the organization decided to expand with additional guest rooms, a restaurant, and catering business, by purchasing 3 new buildings in the neighborhood at the center of Schwertberg and the market square.
This expansion took the former communication system to its capacity limits, and therefore a modernization with a new IP solution was required.
The Unify OpenScape Business solution offers excellent voice quality and Unified Communications functions such as presence, messaging, voicemail, fax, web conferencing, as well as key mobility functionality for the mobile management team, including the ability to retrieve video feeds from the entrance gates and open them remotely from their smart phones.
The solution was also integrated with the in-house hotel application which allows the receptionists to easily check-in and check-out guests and provides a personalized wake-up call, among many other functions.
The new guest rooms include beautiful OpenStage phones, and are connected to the existing video surveillance system in the entrance areas.

The presence function of OpenScape enables hotel employees to know exactly how and when to reach their colleagues. The hotel’s operations and services are optimized through skillful call forwarding.
