This month, I would like to focus on two important areas.

Firstly, you. You, our partners are extremely important to us. The channel business represents a significant route to market for Atos – nearly €290m in 2019 – so from all of us, thank you. But it can still grow and with the portfolio as you understand it today, we can expand on this to increase our growth potential with a much wider portfolio including Cloud and the much wider Atos portfolio.

Secondly, as I pull together the right teams, the right programs and the right tools to give you whatever you need to succeed, I want to highlight a couple of my many priorities for the channel. These include a new Partner Relationship Management (PRM) system – one of the largest channel transformation projects for us – which will replace our entire channel relationship eco-system of tools. A big investment, but also an important commitment to our channel business.

Also very important to me is to ensure ease of doing business together, as well as joint success and growth. Our tools must aid you, our pricing solutions must help you and guide you and this is at the top of my list of priorities.

Quarterly Business Update

If you missed our latest “Global Partner Business Update” on 9 June 2020, you should definitely listen to the recording!

Coming Soon: a new Partner Relationship Management (PRM) solution to power your business

A new Atos Unify project is underway to implement a Partner Relationship Management (PRM) platform. This will replace many of our current systems and tools with one fully integrated system, providing you with a single, modern, easy-to-use interface, which will provide significant additional capabilities, designed to make it much easier for you to engage with us, and for us to help you sell UCC products and solutions.

Scheduled to be delivered at the end of this year, the new PRM solution will also provide you with a complete suite of powerful marketing tools, which will replace and improve on our ageing Digital Channel platform.

It is therefore very unfortunate timing that another company has acquired the Digital Channel functionality from our current supplier, and consequently, Digital Channel will no longer be available from June 30th, 2020. In order to minimise disruption for our users of Digital Channel, we are working on a solution to bridge the gap until the PRM solution goes live.

New MDF Portal

We are upgrading our Partner marketing fund (MDF) portal to a new, improved, single platform, which will deliver many enhanced features and service.

Our provider, Birch Worldwide, is now owned by E2open, who will continue to host and administer the program for us. A new Helpdesk is already live and can be contacted via atosmdf@e2open.com

The new portal will launch on 10th August 2020, and active users will receive an email with their new portal login credentials on or before this date. The existing portal will be available to close out requests and claims until end of day on 24th July 2020. So, we ask partners to close out as much as possible by 24th July and wait for logins to the new portal before raising new, planned activities/claims.

No funds will expire between 25th July 2020 and the 10th August 2020 launch date and there will also be a standard 6-month validity on balances transferred to the new portal. All open Claimed/ Incomplete, or Held activities, younger than 12months old, will be migrated to the new portal for you, but all other open activities (awaiting approval/approved/claimable) will need to be re-submitted as new, in the new portal.
Invitations to English language training webinars will be sent to active MDF users, and these will also be recorded to view later.

Please review your open activities/claims and close as much as you can in the current portal, by end of day on 24th July 2020.
