SQLBase® Treasury Technical Advantages

The Secure Database for your Peace of Mind

Overview

SQLBase Treasury includes a number of features to provide high end database security for laptops and database servers that serve several hundreds of users.

What’s Needed?

  • End-to-End Data Encryption
    • Client application communications
    • Permanent, temporary and transient file protection
    • Data storage on the server
    • Backup
  • Integrity Assurance
    • Controls to ensure databases are tamper proof
  • Password Guessing Defense
    • Brute force and denial of service

SQLBase Treasury

  • Protection against Theft
    • SQLBase Treasury offers high end 128 bit triple DES encryption, there has been no successful decryption of 128 bit triple DES.
  • Protection against Malicious Attacks
    • Effective protection from brute force and denial of service attacks through intelligent logon algorithms that double the idle time between unsuccessful logon tries.
  • Protection against Destruction
    • SQLBase Treasury uses checksums to detect unauthorized data changes coming from malware of any kind.
  • Protection against Eavesdropping
    • Monitoring internet traffic and analyzing the data content of IP packages is quite simple for hackers. SQLBase Treasury encrypts all data traffic between client and server. So if hackers have a Trojan horse sitting in your network that analyzes IP data they will not be able to decrypt anything. This protection system is similar to the way PGP (pretty good privacy) and email programs work.
  • Protection against Snooping
    • What about people that have network rights to see the database files? SQLBase Treasury 128 bit triple DES encryption protects all your database files from being read using byte editors. SQLBase Treasury not only encrypts the database and transaction logs but also database unload files and backup files to provide true end to end encryption.
  • Protection against Encryption Key Detection
    • Facing high data encryption standards, data thieves might look into other ways to break into your data. One way would be to discover the encryption keys and use the keys to decrypt the database file. SQLBase Treasury does not save the encryption keys to disk - preventing hackers from finding the encryption keys and decrypting your data.
