Unify Q for Quest Users

If you are a current Quest user or if you have used Quest in the past, you will be able to reuse the Quest files (queries, reports, sql-files) you have created in a new and modern Office 2007 style application. Unify Q is certified for Windows 7, Windows Vista, Windows Server 2008 and Windows XP. If you did not upgrade to a newer Windows release because Quest wouldn’t run on Vista or later, now you can bring your query and reporting environment to the latest Windows platforms.

The old 16-bit Quest only worked with SQLBase up to version 9. If you want to leverage the latest SQLBase releases including the new SQLBase Command Center, you can do so now, by moving to Unify Q and SQLBase 11.5.

Unify Q for Report Builder Users

If you are currently using Report Builder currently and are looking to export and share query and table contents, have a look at Q. Not only can you export data, you can also import data into database tables. Q provides several file formats for exporting and importing data. Supported formats include Excel®, comma separated values, tab delimited text and XML.

Additionally, query results and tables can be exported into nicely designed HTML files for easy information sharing. Reports can be published as PDF documents for easy information sharing as well.
